Our Portfolio (Web): Page 2

We have helped quite a few Clients, businesses large and small, individuals, non-profit organisations, and even entire communities, get a worthwhile presence on the World Wide Web. Below are some of those success stories!

Fresh Water Filter needed a web site to serve their existing customers. The problem was that staff were overloaded with support calls, plus FWF wanted to introduce more of their other product range to the people buying only replacement filter cartridges.

We felt the solution was an “Infomercial” site, with news stories on particular products, help and advice columns, and guidance for fault diagnosis.

01 Jun 1999 – 01 Feb 2000

Alexandra Gallery, a small gallery and crafts centre, wanted to establish an on-line shop to generate additional income through the sale of original paintings, limited edition prints, sculptures and various other craft-work, especially abroad. The challenge was to present this wide variety of artistic styles together, while maintaining the atmosphere of an eclectic boutique.

To this end we developed a detailed Web Site Design, including site graphics, visual style, and complete blueprints for the “dynamic” parts of the site like the shopping basket.

01 Jan 1999 – 01 Feb 1999

St Joseph’s web site was part of a large-scale fund-raising project designed to create interest in the church and attract media attention.

We felt this was best achieved by emphasising the rich history of the church and the Passionist Order (including their famous link through Father Ignatius Spencer to Princess Diana), injecting a bit of humour with a section devoted to the musings of Greg the Church Cat, and presenting various useful resources for the parishioners, such as an on-line Bulletin, “Meditation for the Week,” “Email-a-Priest” and contact information for all the religious groups.

ScreenshotPSA Parts Ltd, On-line Catalogue Site for VARs

01 Feb 1998 – 01 Mar 1998

PSA Parts was the largest specialist supplier in its sector of the OEM market in Europe. The complexity of PSA’s product range, and their customer base—mostly comprised of VARs—meant that staff were spending a lot of time on the phone arranging the details of transactions and finalising the sale, and mistakes were often made

Our solution was an on-line searchable catalogue, wired into the in-house database, which provided detailed product specifications, helping customers to identify the correct product and ensuring a smooth sale.

01 Dec 1996 – 01 Jan 1997

O’Connell Associates had a powerful vision for the future of the Internet as a communication tool when they commissioned their Web Site in late 1996. Headhunters for global financial institutions, they realised that the most discreet and efficient way to attract the best candidates was through the computers those candidates used at work.

We developed an on-line presence, intergrating their existing corporate style with a job directory they could keep up-to-date themselves. This Site allowed prospective clients and candidates to email regarding their CV and job postings, and pioneered the use of the email newsletter.
